After multiple no shows and late cancellations over the years and loss of earnings due to not being able to fill the spaces I’ve had no choice but to put a policy in place on Fresha which will mean all appointments now booked through the app will Require card details to be captured and the policy of 50% fee of treatment booked for any cancellations less than 24hr before appointment and for no shows 100% fee of the treatment booked will be taken. (This will not be moved over to another appointment) I’ve always been really soft and say it’s fine but it’s getting to a point where I just can’t afford to do it any more. This is my only source of income and when someone cancels an hour before their appointment (for example) I’m down on my wage.

I know there are times when I may need to cancel or reschedule appointments (which I’m extremely grateful for understanding clients and I don’t like doing it, If I don’t work I don’t get paid 😂) times when I get ill or when my child gets ill can’t be helped and I try my best to get anyone back in asap even working till silly o’clock.
