Microblading healing can be an emotional rollercoaster, but that’s completely normal!

I have so many clients that message me from days 5-28 panicking that something is wrong with their microblading.

Darkness, scabbing, fading and uneven colour is totally normal during the healing process.

For the best healed results follow the detailed aftercare advice provided and ensure to book in for you 6-8 week top up

✨ Skeleton pass ✨

Changing up the view today so you can see what I see.

This is the first pass in the microblading process, the skeleton pass.

Microblading usually consists of 3 passes.

1. Skeleton pass- This is where we give the brow it’s structure and shape so that when we wipe away the pre-draw we are left with a shape to build on.

2. Second pass - is where we build upon what we have already microbladed and start to give the brow fullness.

3. Third pass - is where we make sure both brows are even and follow the same shape. In the third pass we perfect the strokes and add any more where needed.

Can we work over old PMU?

The answer is yes BUT the existing PMU must have faded by at least 70% for us to work over it.

My client had old PMU which had faded enough for us to create her some new brows which took into consideration the new hair growth which she has gained since she had them done many years ago (not by me).

How stunning is this transformation 😍

My client felt like her brows had lost their shape over the years.

She loved the thickness of the front of the brow and wanted that to continue through to the arch and tail.

This is what she left with 😍

So in love with these results.

Hello everyone 😊

I thought it was about time I introduce myself on here for all of you who are new followers.

I am Grace and I qualified as a Microblading Specialist back in March 2023 with Annie Green Permanent Cosmetics & Training.

I might be a little quiet on here sometimes and that’s because microblading isn’t my full time job. Throughout the week my full time job is a brain injury support worker. Although being a support worker is a very rewarding job I decided to take a big jump into the world of PMU back in March and start my own business.

Although I am still new to PMU, it has become my passion and I spend most of my spare time in the clinic doing latex practice to perfect my brow pattern.

I specialise in fluffy natural looking brows so if that is something you are after I would love to hear from you ❤️ I hope to expand the types of treatments I offer as time goes on.

Growing a small business isn’t the easiest of things so your likes, shares and follows mean the world to me 😊

I hope to be seeing some of you walking through the clinic door soon.

Grace x

Microbladed brows done for our competition winner today.

So happy with how they turned out.

My client wanted her brows thicker and fuller which is what she got using fine hair strokes to fill in the gaps.

✨Microblading Aftercare✨

When I hand my clients a cotton wool pad after their treatment I often gets some confused looks.

I always ask my clients for the first hour post treatment to dab their eyebrows every 5 minutes with a cotton wool pad.

This may seem excessive to some but the reason behind it is blotting the brows when they are freshly microbladed absorbs the plasma, blood and excess pigment produced which then reduces the amount of scabbing which occurs during the healing process.

The aftercare cream we provide our clients with should be used from 48 hours post treatment.

We recommended you use a rice grain sized amount every night for the first 2 weeks of healing, or if you have oiler skin every other night.

This also helps to prevent scabbing which can cause uneven/patchy hair strokes.

Clients who follow this advice have the best chance of having the best healed microblading results.
