Set up: numbing cream, gauze/cotton pads for cleansing, Clinisept to disinfect the skin and the star of the show PLINEST EYE for the delicate eye area 👁️

Consultation: Addressing patients specific concerns, expectations, thorough medical history and consent, before photos/videos
Specific concerns - dark, hollowed under eyes and uneven tone

Pre treatment: numbing cream to make the area more comfortable 🧴

Technique: We decided on a mixture of techniques (Cannula and micro bolus injections) Both are effective but depend on the patients preference, down time and concerns with bruising swelling 💉

LEFT EYE: Microbolus injections - numerous small intradermal injections given above and below the eye. This technique is highly precise and localised, meaning even distribution of the product. Swelling and redness can be immediately seen and bruising may be more likely as more injections are needed with this technique.
Down time may be longer. Patients may prefer this technique if they don’t like cannula.

RIGHT EYE: Cannula - a small puncture is made and the fine, flexible, blunt-tipped tube is used to inject the product intradermally in a linear thread technique. For periorbital (around-the-eye) treatments, a cannula is sometimes preferred because it:
•Reduces the risk of bruising or vessel injury
•Allows smoother, even distribution of the product
•Minimises pain and swelling
•Increases safety near delicate structures (like the eye)

You see some immediate swelling and redness at the injection sites, as well as some bruising.
Cool gel packs were placed afterwards and aftercare given ❤️
After 24 hours, my patient updated me and you can see the swelling has decreased and some bruising remains, which will fade in the next few days.
