Let’s talk lash tips for the summer ☀️

It’s so important to wash your eyelashes often but in the summer time, it’s highly recommended to wash them regularly and even more so when your in the sea or pool all day.

We recommend keeping oils away from your lashes and this is the same for sun cream 🧴

Please please please keep your lashes away from extreme heat, this can lead to singed, the curl becoming flat and leading to needing a new set sooner

Summer is peak time for lash appointments, make sure your booking your infills!! Due to the heat, appointments may be moved but this in the clients best interest and glue used is better in certain heat and humidity

Cluster lashes, we all love them including myself. However some people do struggle with the application and find it tricky. For example, my mum struggles at positioning of the tweezers and getting them close to your lash line.

I applied some for her yesterday using some normal glue as the extensions glue would have stuck to her eyelid and would have caused irritation etc.

I’m interested to see if people would be interested in this as a service? Either to just apply them for a small fee or source the lashes and apply them for you

As mentioned in my previous status I did some practice on my mum. This was tricky one and so different to a practice eye, we didn't have a lot of time, so we chose to do a small section and then practice a removal.

The photos show my tapping method and the section we had lashed, given we had more time I think they would have turned out amazing.

We then did a removal, this wasn't difficult as I had thought. We waiting a couple minutes and was then able to remove the lashes.

I'll be practising again soon and post another update! 🤳👀
