Can’t believe it is 2023 already. It’s that time of the year when we all think about making New Year’s Resolutions.
This year I have only 1 which is - To be kinder to myself

Eau de Ems and Busters Toy box wish everyone an amazing 2023. Hopefully you all enjoyed your New Years Eve, we had a quiet night with Buster, who is still not too sure about fireworks but otherwise had a good night.

Christmas and New Year are times of excess, food, drink parties, etc. During the month of January I will be focusing on Wellness and being kind to yourself. Looking for ways in which to incorporate it into everyday life.

What do you use bicarbonate of soda for

Hair can get out of control in winter due to the cold temperatures and using a hat/scarf more regularly.
Here are the top tips to keep your hair healthy this winter:
Use a leave in conditioner to retain more moisture in hair
Regular trims are a must as the ends of your hair still wear down in the winter.
Use hairspray to repel the moisture when it is forecast to sleet, snow or rain
If you need to wear a hat backcomb the crown of your head this allows hair to fluff back up when the hat is removed instead of your hair being flattened.
Investing in protecting hair oil is a must, it provides your hair with extra protection. Helping provide a defence against split ends and the frizz.
Treat your hair to a hair mask which will help to add hydration, shine and richness that can be lost during the winter months.

Christmas is a time of traditions whether it's being allowed to open one present on christmas eve. Trying to remember where you hid the presents before frantically wrapping them up once the children have gone to bed.
My favourite was always having to wait for my dad to go downstairs to check if Santa had been, then telling us to go back to sleep at 4am was too early and he hasn't been yet.
