A few pictures of Durham castle taken at the weekend. Does the great hall remind you of something? The photo is not brilliant and I couldn't get all of the hall as the students were eating , but hogwarts great hall is a copy of Durham castles great hall . The Harry Potter production team wanted to use the castles great hall to film, the castle declined due to the disruption it would cause to the students who live their.
