I know I have a quite a few pending bridal messages to get back to. Prom season has been mega this year on top of weddings and busy studio days so I appreciate your patience immensely.

Let’s talk lash lift journeys 🗣️🎙️

After all knowledge is power and the difference between good lashes and “oh my god my lashes are frazzled 😳”

Typically lash lift products and some technicians say you are okay to get a lash lift every 6 weeks (and technically they’re not wrong) because we are taught a natural full lash cycle from growth to loss is 6- 12 weeks. How ever not every clients cycle is the same. Personally I will always state 8 weeks minimum and even then I am not afraid to turn clients away from a booking because their lashes still have some curl left in them. As disappointing as this might be for the client and financially a loss for me that the appointment booked won’t go ahead I’d still rather be at a loss than risk over processing your lashes, giving bad results and potentially causing lasting damage. 🫣

My lovely client was booked in for another lash lift and brows today after only 6 weeks because that’s what she had heard was the right length of time from previous techs. So we only did brows and a lash tint during her appointment.
As much as there is new growth and straight lashes showing there is also still very curled lashes and here’s we’re over processing would occur if I was to go ahead and put more chemicals on to the still curled lashes.
A tint will freshen them up and give the client a happy medium whilst she waits out the rest of her lash cycle until she’s able to safely get her next amazing lash lift 🫶
