I’m off work today for a wee appointment but as soon as the girls left for school I stuck this on as it’s the first chance I’ve got to catch up with them out the house! I don’t know the last time I lay on the sofa with a blanket watched anything. I’ll do my exercise when I get back & have more motivation to move! Happy Thursday. It’s almost the weekend! Em x 💓

It’s that time of the week, uniforms steamed
& lunches about to prep. I need to be as organised as I can because who knows what the morning will bring! Em x 💓

Anyone else? I actually started prepping my lunches for the week & realised that’s a Sunday job, it’s only Saturday! Em x 💓

Still amazed I placed 9th in the wellness practitioner category & 5th is best home salon. As you know starting out with PMU & expanding into treatments that I have interests in, I only carry out treatments that I love doing. I did have plans for some pmu refresher training but my new NHS training will be taking up my time for the next 12months. Em x 💓

Not going to lie 2025 has been a proper rollercoaster. I’m not really one for New Year’s resolutions, but a lot will change this year. I’m starting a uni course for my new job, exciting, scary, and a big step all at once. Because of that, I might not be as available as I have been.
It can be hard not to dwell on negatives and what we leave behind, but it’s all about the positives ahead. I’m trying to keep everything as positive as possible, especially for the kids because everything I do is for them.
Whatever you have planned or resolutions made, approach it with positivity and productivity. You can do what you set your mind to! This is all part of building something better.

New Year’s Eve are you a party person or bed before the bells?
We’ve got a super early start as this marks the end of the play dough in the ear saga for my youngest. I’m obviously feeling a bit nervous with the baby of the family having her wee op, but fingers crossed we’ll be home sharp.
So it’s definitely bed before the bells for us tomorrow but I’ll be honest that’s mostly me anyway.

Sad to say but today I’m taking the decorations down. The kids are away for a sleepover for the next few days & I’m working tomorrow so seems like a good time. I love the lights & I love the cosy vibes of the season but I love even more getting the conservatory decluttered & the livingroom back to normal. We have done a mini clear out & have 4bags for the dump today also. How long do you leave your decorations up?
