Nurtured Nails

I havent posted for a while as there hasnt been anything to report🤣

But finally i am having my 1st physio session later this week.

Hopefully this will provide me with some answers reguarding the limited movement in my left arm & hand,🤞& give me a clearer idea of when or if i can return to work!

Once again a huge thankyou for all of the kind messages of support & for all the offers of help & drop ins, they have really helped me cope!

*Just a little update!*

So i had my surgery 2wks ago & returned for my post op review yest.

Had staples removed, wound cleaned, xrays & then spoke to surgeon.
Wound healing really well which im so pleased about!
Been advised to do some gentle movements to keep elbow from seizing up.

Best of all, the pain is now much less & bearable👍

Back to hospital for another review in the New Yr!

After what has seemed like the longest 6 days ever, i've finally had the reconstructive surgery on my broken elbow and am back home resting and recovering👍

The long road to recovery starts now and it still seems completely alien to not be nailing😔

I have been surrounded with the love and support from you all, with messages, drop ins, offers of help, and for which i am SO greatful🙏

I will keep you updated on here with progress, and will respond to messages as & wen i can, it's taking alot longer with just one useable hand/arm!

It is with great sadness that i write this post.

Last Friday i had a really nasty fall and have broken my elbow.
Eastbourne hospital have been amazing!

My arm is currently in a cast and i am waiting for surgery from an elbow specialist to repair the break.

I cannot work for a minimum of 6wks, something im struggling to come to terms with.

It goes without saying that i am completely devastated to have to cancel all appoints this side of Christmas😔

I will endeavour to message you all individually.
