So it’s been a really tough year (14 months really) and then there was this! ... our first meeting of our cuter than cute and gorgeous granddaughter the beautiful Baby Bessie 💕🥰 what a fabulous day we had. She was super excited to meet her Grandad 😍❤️

I took this pic back in November on a day when I have to say I felt less than positive! It has been one hell of a year for everyone and as a Nail Tech I felt it deeply! I have turned my hand to tasks and things I’ve never done before. Tried different avenues to stay afloat. I have found happiness in gardening and great joy in studying. Anyone of you that know me will know I have spent much of my time cooking and coming up with new recipes. I have found true peace in walking with my headphones in listening to all kinds of music - the only real escapism from this awful time - even if there were days when all that did was made me cry. But having had a few days back with my clients - I’m beginning to feel I’m at the end of the rainbow 🌈... and anyone out there who has ever questioned “why would you just wanna do nails all day?” I promise you it’s all about so much more than nails!
