Certainly for us as a salon, regrowth tint clients are our foundation.

Of course the humble haircut is up there but the regrowth tint army are more regular, spend more money and are usually of an age where they can afford to be in the salon every 4-8 weeks without question.

Plus this service can be up-graded every now and again to add highlights or other services to enhance the colour.

So unless you are a specialist salon and don’t so much tinting, look after these little gems as they will look after you without you really knowing it!

This will be my last bob for a while, I promise — although I do love a bob. Choppy and textured is always my preference, and I’m not afraid to go in with the clippers when it makes the job cleaner and more efficient.

I know it’s not for everyone, but for me it works. Having a large male clientele has definitely made me comfortable using clippers on any hair type — and honestly, if it works, it works.

Enjoyed doing this new clients colour. We bleached up the regrowth, trying to remove a few warmer areas through the ends and added some splashes of colour.
