⭐️ Skin Tag Removal ⭐️
These skin tags around the eyes were successfully treated using Advanced Electrolysis, a precise method known as Thermolysis.
This treatment involves the use of a very fine sterile needle to deliver a controlled electrical current, cauterising the excess tissue and allowing the skin to heal naturally.
Although skin tags are harmless, they can often affect a person’s confidence, particularly when located in highly visible areas such as the face and eyelids.
My client had lived with these skin tags for many years and was delighted with the outcome of his treatment.
The after photograph was taken approximately four weeks following treatment and demonstrates excellent healing. There is only a small area of residual redness present, known as post-inflammatory erythema, which is a normal part of the healing process and is expected to continue fading over the coming weeks.
My client was so pleased with the results that he chose not to attend his scheduled four-week review appointment and kindly provided this photograph himself.
If you have skin tags or other benign skin blemishes that you would like removed, please feel free to get in touch to discuss your options or arrange a consultation.
Please note that any lesion which cannot be confidently identified may require assessment through Map My Mole prior to treatment to ensure it is suitable for removal. 💕

Just a gentle reminder 👇 💕
The new aesthetics regulations have been passed!
What this means for me? Well not much to be honest as I am already fully trained, licensed and insured to carry out all of my treatments. And I do not do injectable aesthetics procedures.
When I started college to do my 2 year beauty therapy course almost 30 years ago!! Yes can you believe that! In 1996! I did it because I had a passion for all things skin and beauty. I loved learning how to improve my own skin as well as other peoples.
My job took me to lots of amazing countries and places and I will be for ever thankful to that opportunity in my life!
But over the years I have seen the changes and the advances in skin care and treatments.
We have a lot of amazing advanced skin treatments nowadays, such as microneedling, laser etc. and naturally as a beauty or skin therapist you move with the times, you update your skills regularly and follow and stick to all health and safety protocols.
Now I don’t really call myself an aesthetics practitioner as I don’t do injectables ( it’s just not my thing) but the new aesthetics regulations have, I feel, unfairly went after the non medic aesthetic practitioners. Some of the very best in the UK, some of my industry friends. Many now will unfortunately have to close their businesses. 😞
What I have seen on social media over the last year or so has been horrible. Constant degrading remarks and always aimed at ‘beauticians’. “stick to doing eyebrows” is one of the recent comments! 🙄
I and many other beauty therapists feel these constant remarks are unfair, stereotypical and disrespectful.
A failure to understand what we do and how much effort we put into our careers and businesses. We do not just do eyebrows and nails 💅. Not that there is anything wrong with the beauticians that do. They are full of artistry and talent. Nails were actually my worst nightmare, especially acrylics and gel 😂 I just couldn’t get the hang of them!
In fact I specifically chose the treatments I love and have a passion for and I concentrate on those within my business.
But most of all my priority is that my treatments are done safely and hygienically and to the best standard possible.
But I want to acknowledge my support for the aesthetics girls and guys 🩷 that are not feeling too great right now after a very stressful few years of uncertainty and more to come as the bill has not laid out any concrete plans for the future which I think is absolutely ridiculous the government has not addressed these issues first! 🤦🏼♀️
What I see for the future of the beauty and aesthetics industry is unclear right now but whatever happens, I hope therapists and practitioners like myself get to hold on to their passions and their careers because it’s a sad day when it gets handed over to the medics on a plate.💕💕
