It’s with a heavy heart that I am announcing the closure of Avenue, after six amazing years! 🤍

I did not take this decision lightly, but as many of you know, I was so blessed to be pregnant at 44 and welcome baby Adam.

I had a lot of complications during the pregnancy and after, which ultimately made me rethink my priorities of managing the salon, a busy Airbnb business & dedicating my time to look after Adam.

I will truly miss all our lovely clients who really have become friends over the years.

I am sure I will return to nails & beauty in the future.. (from my home base in Liberton) and so will keep the Avenue IG & FB page open for then 💗

The Team

I cannot thank the team enough; Gloria, Shadi and Sarah, for their commitment & dedication to the salon over the years. They have supported me so much throughout, and so I wanted to make sure I supported them going forward..

Some of you may have heard of Townhouse Nail Bar, founded in London, are now opening in Edinburgh St James & Morningside, at the end of October.

I have a longstanding friendship with the COO of Townhouse so I got in touch with him to say I had a wonderful team that would be an asset to Townhouse in Edinburgh.

I am pleased to share that both Gloria and Shadi have accepted positions with Townhouse.

Sarah will go self employed from her home base near Fettes area 💅
