Once again our industry is being lied about by the media spreading lies and scaremongering. Untruthful headline, misleading studies from people who do not have the knowledge about how the products are used safely in a professional setting. Headlines claim that gel polish causes cancer. Here’s the truth….
TPO is a Photo inhibitor, its role is to cure and harden gel polish under uv/led light. It is present in very very small amounts.
TPO has restricted use by the EU because in lab test it was given to rats in very large amounts, far beyond any amount that is in gel polish. Those extreme doses triggered some adverse risks in rats with ONE study! No test done on humans. All of our nail products from CND are tested vigorously under strict EU/UK regulations and guidelines. Please do your own research about TPO to come to your own conclusion, rather than listen to the dramatic media headlines.
