A few days away was just what we needed 🥂🌅❤️!

After five weeks off, I’ll be returning to work on the 20th of May.

As much as I feel ready to come back, I’m still not ready to speak about the passing of my dad, so I kindly ask that you please don’t ask me any questions about it. I hope you can understand.

I can’t wait to see you all and hear what you’ve all been up to over the last five weeks — I’ve truly missed you all so much.

18.04.2026 the day you gained your wings 🪽

The last fifteen months, you went through more than anyone should ever have to. From a massive operation, weeks of radiotherapy, and countless hospital visits, to the moment we were told you were all clear… only to then hear the cancer had spread and there was nothing more they could do.

These past few months have been a rollercoaster, watching you fade a little more each day. But even on your hardest days, you still tried to be Dad, with your quick witted, sarcastic humour, your famous eye rolls, and those looks you gave when Mum said something mental.

You are the strongest person I know. The best dad we could ever have asked for. I will be forever grateful that you got to walk me down the aisle, a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Dad, you were the first man I ever loved and trusted. You were always there to protect us. You fought until the very end, and I’m so incredibly proud of you. You’re going to be missed more than words can ever say. The thought of never hearing your voice or your laugh again breaks my heart, and I don’t know how we’re going to do life without you.

I take comfort in knowing you’re out of pain now, finally at peace. I hope Auntie Sandra was there waiting for you and hopefully with a steak pie.

Sweet dreams Dad. I will never forget you. Your memory will live on in all of us until we meet again. I love you more than words can ever express 💔🪽
