Problem Skin - ensure you clean your hands and brushes before applying make up. Take your time with application and focus on even coverage. Have a consistent routine for removing your make up at the end of each day.

Blackheads - you can help avoid blackheads by using non comedogenic products which don't block your pores. Steer clear of products which include lanolin and parabens. I recommend First Aid Beauty as they are effective, natural, and affordable.

Exfoliate Your Lips - you can exfoliate your lips with a natural blend of olive oil and sugar, this removes dead skin and increases blood circulation which makes lips appear plumper with additional colour.

Foundation Tip

You want your foundation to match the rest of your body so it's important to colour match your foundation to your neck rather than your face, as your face is often paler.

Blusher

A blush that compliments the rest of the make up look can really finish the face off and pull the whole look together. However, I find that some people are scared of blusher and automatically think it means you’re going to have bright pink or red cheeks and resemble a clown, this is not the case. Finding a blusher that is subtle but still brightens the apple of your cheeks with a little bit of colour is the way to go.

My favourite blushers are from Charlotte Tilbury, Zoeva and MAC.
