Really proud to have been able to bring 'careers in screen' workshops to 17 Edinburgh high schools in the 2023/24 academic year, inspiring the next generation of film & TV industry professionals. Just great to see East Lothian on the screen in Mammoth Screen / BBC Agatha Christie drama Murder is Easy. East Lothian Councilโs commitment to facilitating filming in the region has been recognised in its new Filming Charter.
A new film charter has been agreed to make East Lothian even more attractive as a film and TV location. The agreement sets out how the council and partners such as Film Edinburgh and Police Scotland will work with filmmakers. https://orlo.uk/YsBwG

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's longest reigning monarch. Her ties to Edinburgh were extensive, with the Royal residence at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and countless visits to charities, veterans, serving personnel, hospitals and children.
The BFI Player has a lovely collection of films from her life: https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/collection/queen-elizabeth-ii
