Previous colour, lightening, and natural undertones all play a role. Hair always lifts warm, and if that warmth isn’t addressed correctly, it can affect the end result.

This step is about even out the canvas - carefully correcting tone, maintaining hair integrity, and prepping the hair so the final colour looks seamless, rich, and intentional 👏🏼

As you can see, there are lighter sections, banding and darker areas.

Each section of hair has a different history, so each section needs a different formula and timing.

Colour correction is about breaking the hair down into zones and carefully bringing everything back into balance.
