40 Something woman attempting to transform her skin while living with MS and traveling constantly as a business executive (totally unrelated to skin care).

I'm hoping that sharing my journey can help others who may be struggling with thier skin!

Happy Sunday all! I know it has been awhile since I've posted anything, but you know, life 😂

I'm getting ready to share new skin things I've been up to, but wanted to share my eight months results since I've restarted my skin care journey!

I'm thrilled with my progress and am still working on tightening and lifting and reducing my hyperpigmentation!

February 2025 to July 2025 progress pictures and June 2025 to July 2025 progress pictures.

I'm also going to use this post as a moment to clarify a few things. I posted these pictures on a skin care site that I belong to. While the majority of the feedback I received was really positive, oh wow did I get some stupid and hateful messages 🤣

Yes, I know the lighting is different. I can't match lighting while on the road, which I am constantly traveling for my work. That said, the results are still visible! I was accused of trying to "trick people" into believing I was seeing results through manipulation.

Then I received many messages about how I was stupid to post these because I had no visible results other than my acne reduction!

Lastly I recieved messages from claimed "professionals" that there is no way I have recieved these results without in office procedures and that I was a fraud 🤣

I have nothing to gain by sharing my journey, ups and downs, and results. I am not receiving free products or any monetary compensation for any of this, my only motivation is to try to help other women through my own struggles!

That said, I have done all of this through my routines that I have been documenting. Am I against going in office to get work done? Absolutely not! Infact I am considering going in to get Sculptra to help with areas of natural bone loss.

That said, I want to first see how much I can transform my skin through my own means.

So, while I felt my skin progress had stagnated in the month of July, comparing my pictures to June, I am seeing the following noticeable continued results (different lighting and all, in fact the lighting in the July pictures make most of my flaws look worse as the lighting is harsher)!

- Eye area: my under eye area and upper eye lid areas are really starting to tighten, lift and lighten! My skin seems to continue to get thicker!

- Neck area: my neck lines are definitely continue to soften and the area of the "turkey neck" is slowly starting to shrink and tighten! I've been asked to do a white up specifically targeted for the neck. I will, but I want to wait another month to do it as I get further into my hifu cycle.

- General elasticity: I am still seeing slight improvements with overall skin tightening, lifting and elasticity. I am still too early into my RF and hifu cycles to have any meaningful results, so the fact that i have seen any results so quickly into the use of these devices is impressive on its own!

I'll close with this: I think so many have been conditioned to want instant gratification by seeing drastic, instant results. If you need to see overnight, drastic results, my routine is probably not for you and you should go in for professional treatments (many of which still occur over time). The tools and topicals I use require repetition, consistency and time. They work along with your skin's natural cycles and repair time. It is natural for your skin to seem to stagnated, not see major results and then suddenly the results seem to appear overnight! It is kind of like (natural) weight loss.

I went into this journey not expecting any major improvements until after six months! Considering I am seeing the results I am seeing four and five months in is thrilling to me

As I start with delving into each type of at home skin care device, I figured I would start with the one I recommend most to those just starting their skin care device journey... LED Light Therapy! Many know of it as red-light therapy (RLT), which is part of LED light therapy, but there is so much more to it! Why do I recommend you start with LED light therapy? Read on to find out more!

I really enjoyed my robe while getting ready this morning, trying out some of my new products, and trying to control my vacation breakouts (whoops 🤭)while enjoying the Edinburgh views 🤩 (please ignore my hair 🤣).

While I'm in Edinburgh, I figured I would check out some of the UK skin care shops while here! And conveniently, I'm staying on top of the St James Quarter shopping center, so heck yes! Also, if anyone comes here, I highly recommend staying at the Roomzzz Aparthotel. It is amazing and I was moved to the pent house suite with AMAZING views of the city!!!

I stopped at stores Space NK and H Beauty (Harrods) and had a great time!

I couldn't leave empty handed so purchased a few new brands and travel friendly (remember, I never check bags) products to bring home with me. I'll let you know how they are once I've tried them for a bit!

Enjoy some pictures along with some commentary, and what I bought!

Given my crazy travel schedule, I have received a number of requests to detail how I maintain my skin care routine while on the road. Given I am currently on an overseas vacation, I figured this was the perfect time to share what I brought with me on this trip and how I incorporate it all into only a backpack and roller carry-on (I never check luggage, even on a 10-day trip).

Sorry for the long delay in posting this, life has been hectic! Here is my intro to skin care devices. I will be writing individual reviews and information regarding the exact ones I use in the near future! I posted some of the graphics separately as I know they are very small in article form. Enjoy :)

Of course, on the road yet again! Checked into my hotel and getting ready to wind down and spend some self-care time with these devices tonight 🤣

NEWA RF

Dr Rajani Plasmaglo Eye Patches

Medicube Booster Pro

Thinking about dropping something about red light therapy (RLT) if I can find the time, too exhausted to tonight! ❤️

Many have asked me what "skin flooding" is. It can mean different things to different people, but here is my take on it, how I do it, which ingredients I seek out, and some of the products I am currently using! I also go into a couple of devices I use to help with product absorption to make sure the products you apply to your skin actually absorb. Time for me to go "flood" my skin for the night :)

Trying to take a selfie with your ginormous horse is NOT easy! Here I am dirty, sweaty frizzy after our ride in the hot AZ sun (Moose is freshly rinsed off and happy here).

I take special precautions with my skin and my health on these hot and sunny days:

1) Hydrate, hydrate and HYDRATE!!!

2) I apply a very healthy layer of SPF 50+ on my face neck, chest and hands

3) I always wear a hat when under the sun and my helmet when I ride which offers obvious protections, but also helps sheild my face from the sun

4) I am a BIG believer in sun shirts! My favorite riding shirts are the Kerrits breathable SPF 30+ long sleeve shirts like I am wearing here. In the direct sun I zip it all of the way up to protect my neck and chest. These shirts also keep me nice a cool!

Well guys, you asked for it! There's a lot of information in this, I know. But this includes what a sample starter routine could look like as well as what my current rough routines look like for both topical and at home devices. As always, my disclaimer... I AM NOT A SKIN CARE PROFESSIONAL, and I am just sharing my journey and what has worked well for my skin. More to come
