First things first a serum is an extremely lightweight lotion that is packed with active ingredients that help to target a specific skincare concern, this differs from moisturisers as they take a more rounded skincare approach. 🥰
Although moisturisers are incredible additions to skincare routines they have a lot less antioxidants than serums do, not to mention that moisturisers have a lot of additional ingredients where as serums are made up of just antioxidants and not much else.
So there you have it! Serums are fantastic additions to your skincare routine if you have a specific skin concern you wish to focus on! 😍
