LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser Hair Removal is a cosmetic procedure which is using a light source to target and attract the melanin (colour/pigment) in the hair. Darker hair contains more melanin, the darker the hair the more effective the treatment. The applicator handle is pressed onto the skin and the light energy is absorbed into the hair follicle, causing a heat reaction to destroy the hair follicle.

When an area is treated, all hair growth stages are targeted. However only hair in the Anagen (hair growth) stage can be treated successfully, as this is where the hair follicle is attached to the blood supply and most likely to be destroyed. A recommended 3-8 sessions is recommended for the best results.

How does LVL work?

Your lashes are covered in a special serum that straightens from the root - which instead of straightening them, gives them a curled look, then are tinted

How long does LVL take?

Usually takes 45 minutes to hour, most of this time is waiting for the things to develop - the serum, the tint etc Your eyes are shut the entire appointment

Does LVL hurt?

LVL does not hurt one bit. If at any point your feel pain or irritation throughout tell your therapist straight away.
