Market trader reality... It is a gamble.
You can prepare your display, secure an indoor pitch, pray for good weather, and be cheerful and approachable. But if customers don't come, or if your stuff does not suit the vibe then it will be a loss.

I'm in my 5th year of Tappermade and I still genuinely smile every time I see an order come through.
So grateful to my wonderful customers. Thanks for sticking with me. I know life is expensive right now and there are cheaper products you could choose. That you continue to see the value in supporting my little business means the world.

I started Tappermade when I was unhappy. I really needed to change what I was doing. I missed making things so much!
I'm grateful that I had the opportunity and time to figure out that THIS is what I should be doing. I needed peace and quiet and I know that's not available to everyone.
After a few months I had carved a teeny tiny path towards what Tappermade has become now. I dreamed of having my own studio, of having regular customers, more time with my children, and being able to make what I want. Here I am.
It's not all sunshine and rainbows and if you want I can do a list of things that suck about running a small business. But today, I choose to focus on the pros.
My favorite product.
It is hard for me to choose. I genuinely enjoy using all my products. This one though, this is a special one.
I remember my mum trying to brush my hair when I was little and it ALWAYS hurt. I used to have to have short hair because brushing was such an ordeal.
Now I can brush my hair easily and it feels great. I'm proud of all my products but this one I would pack in my emergency backpack for an impending apocalypse.
