Announcement 📣

After much soul searching & contemplation, I’m sad to announce that I will be closing the salon.
Most of you know, I cut down on my hours dedicated to the salon last year when I took on another job at Stem Cell Vet. I have continued to offer the evenings and weekends that I can, but this is becoming increasingly more difficult to sustain.

I have a young family to think of and I am unable to be the mummy I’m needed to be when I am always at work. My children have clubs etc and there is always something I am needed for.
It was time, something had to give.

I’m eternally grateful to the constant, loyal support I have received over the last 5 years from each and every client I have had on my books and this has been an incredibly difficult decision.

I will be reaching out to local salons/beauty therapists to be able to recommend you all someone else to go to once I finish & I will be looking through my diary to come up with a final closing date for the salon.

GIFT VOUCHERS.

Good afternoon lovelies,

Please be aware I have a policy on gift vouchers. I’ve had people try to use vouchers that have past their expiry date.

The reason I put an expiry date is due to price changes alongside inflation and to keep a track of my diary and financial years.

If you do not use your voucher before the expiry date, then it will be null and void and there is absolutely NO wiggle room on this anymore.

I’ve lost money over the past 6 months from accepting vouchers that expired and were purchased with my previous price lists.

☀️ UPDATE ☀️

Please be aware the salon can get really warm in the evenings and there may be times that I will have to rearrange your appointments if the temperature and humidity gets too high in there. It can be unsafe for treatments to go ahead & also ineffective for some products as they do not perform in certain environments.

I will monitor and let you know if we need to rearrange.

I’m still here! I’m sorry for the radio silence recently, I’ve honestly been so awful at remembering to take pictures (mainly because I get too wrapped up in chatting with you all!) but I’m still booked and busy, thanks to all of my lovely clients.

Summer is fast approaching, let’s hope the sunshine actually reaches us soon - I’m waiting for the day I can bring my flip flops out of hibernation ☀️ don’t forget to book your appointments in now for any holidays or events you have coming up throughout the season! I can’t wait to start doing bright, summery nails again! 🥰

BIAB appreciation post 🤍

This just proves the absolute power of BIAB and makes me so proud of this clients journey and the work that she has put in.

This client came to me at the end of summer last year. She was a severe nail biter and admitted that the only way she didn’t bite her nails was to have acrylic over the top. I sold her on BIAB and told her to be prepared for the journey. We started off with weekly appointments to try and get some kind of nail growing again - some of them were so damaged that it was hard to tell what kind of nail was going to grow, if any at all! The client committed to regular hand and nail care at home, cuticle oils, hand creams, the lot! She was and continues to be the model client for listening to my advice 😝

It took some time, but we are now at the point that her nails are now strong, natural and beautiful 🥰 she can finally have designs that she’s longed for, without having to put any acrylic on!
