STOP4MASSAGE was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer, more common in the over 65's, males and African Americans, so against the odds! I am currently under-going treatment.

For this reason I am currently not offering massage services.

I have Cancer. Cancer does not have me.

Cancer brings strong messages, it is trying to teach/tell you how to heal your life, physically and emotionally.

What if Cancer is the body's last attempt to save it's own life?
What if Cancer's purpose is to heal?
What if Cancer longs to be loved?
What if we stopped hating and started leaning in to what Cancer has to teach us? About who we are, how we have lived, and what we might yet become?

It's very important to look after YOURself, to treat YOURself. Take time to give to yourself.

And make sure you get that back ache properly examined!

Have you had on-going back pain that you blame on your job, your activity's? Have you had Osteo, Physio, massage, tried Pilates and then been palmed off with pain killers from the doctor but still suffering or even getting worse? Acute back pain will resolve. Sometimes it can be a symptom of an underlying cause/disease that needs investigating. Have you noticed any other symptoms, such as rib pain or fatigue, recurrent infections, for example? If you are concerned, you must push the doctor for blood tests and scans and in some cases getting private scans and consults may be the only way to reach a conclusion.

It's important to know because on-going osteo/physio for example may be making matters worse, especially when you haven't had any scans done.

Due to personal injury, stop4massage is currently out of action for any massage services! 😬
Keep well, limit stress, keep moving, but do ensure rest!
