Thank you to my patient for sending this over and giving me permission to share.

As we age, the fat pads in our face shrink, bone density reduces and over time our skin laxity and collagen reduces. This can lead to flattening of the cheeks and a more hollow appearance to the face. We addressed this area with 1ml of dermal filler, to add support to the mid cheek to restore volume loss.

We then treated the lips with 0.7ml of dermal filler to restore volume and add more definition and shape to the lips. Both of these treatments in combination provide a subtle but effective result.

We have devised a treatment plan to add more filler, gradually and over the course of a year so that we can avoid unaesthetic and unnatural outcomes. Remember, the goal is always to naturally enhance your facial features and restore volume loss without distorting your appearance.

Following on from the latest news published by the NMC, I want to reassure patients that this will not change anything in my clinic regarding my prescribing process.

Patients will continue to experience a full face-to-face consultation for all procedures.

As a prescriber myself, I will continue to ensure that your patient experience is seamless from consultation through to administration, while also providing the correct aftercare.

I am pleased about the recent announcement as this further prioritises patient safety by putting a concrete ban on remote prescribing for everyone. This is one step closer to a safer, more regulated sector.

My patient Suzanne travelled all the way from England for her annual filler top-up. It is always a pleasure to treat Suzanne as she is such a warm, lovely person and brings all the laughs.

I treated Suzanne’s nasolabial & marionette lines and also added some filler to her lips to give this beautiful result.

Photographs were taken before and immediately after treatment so some redness and bleeding is evident🩸. I have opted to post these raw images so that patients know what to expect post-treatment. Redness, swelling, bleeding and even bruising are all normal reactions to having needle-based treatments. The good thing is, these side-effects are temporary but the results are definitely worth it!
