Something I struggled with a lot on this journey was the opinions of others, especially some of those closest to me. It’s so easy to let other people’s beliefs shape your own and before you know it you’re questioning yourself.

The truth is not everyone is going to understand your vision. Some people will think you’re aiming too high, taking too many risks or chasing something unrealistic and that’s because they’re looking at life through their own experiences, not yours.

If you have a dream, a goal or a vision don’t stop because someone else can’t see it. The only person who has to believe in it is you.

Building this business has taught me more than I ever expected. It’s taught me patience, discipline and belief in myself that I was never aware I had. There are days I want to pack it in and go back to a 9-5 but I know I’d regret giving up far more than I’d regret trying.

Looking back at where I started compared to where I am now reminds me why I kept going. My little business is so far from what it once was yet so far from what it’s going to be.

The anti - lash extension narrative has gone too far, while lash lifts are stunning and a great alternative it is not your only option.

I see SO much marketing tools with influencers etc in the media pushing the narrative that lash extensions ruin your lashes and I don’t think it’s fair.

If your lashes are applied by an improper technician YES they absolutely will ruin your lashes.
If you pick and pull at your lashes YES they absolutely will ruin your lashes.

If you find a lash technician who isolates every lash, distributes correct weight, actually cares for your natural lashes and you meet halfway following the correct aftercare NO they will not ruin your lashes.
