It's that time of year again! There's just over a week before our seasonal rotation for fragrances occurs. Our Winter Fragrances will depart to make room for the Spring ones! The winter ones will no longer be available for purchase as full sizes or as part of the Sampler Flight from 1 March at midnight UK time. They will be available again from 1 December, 2026! So now is your last chance to pick them up for a little while.

Taking their place from 1 March until 1 June are our Spring Fragrances. Spring is our season for fresh greens and delicate florals. Think new blossoms, meadows and budding leaves.

The fragrances that are departing are Cause for Caroling, Celestial Fox, Father Frost, Figures of Delight, Kywitt Kywitt, La Chasse-Galerie, Mischief Master, Potentiality, Springing Lark, and True and Untrue.

The fragrances rotating into stock are Big Damn Hero, Black Cat Winking, Lady Featherflight, Laundress of Sorrow, Little Thousand, Luck of the Roses, Silent Soul, Spell Breaker, There All Alone, Trickster, and White Footprints.

In one week, on December 1st, 2025 at Midnight, UK Time, our Fall Fragrances will be rotating out of stock to make room for our Winter Fragrance Catalogue!

This is the time to stock up on our atmospheric woods, aromatic herbs and fruits of the orchard before they withdraw until September 1, 2026. They will not be available for purchase or as a part of our Discovery Flights after midnight on December 1st until the Fall season rotates back in.

Our Winter Fragrances will be returning, however! Winter is our season for deep red roses, evergreen conifers, rich resins, incense, and cozy gourmands. These will be available as both full sized scents and as a part of our Discovery Flights from December 1, 2025 until March 1, 2026.

Hello there,

Some of you may have noticed that you could not check out on our website for several days last week - we had to temporarily suspend shipping to the US when the customs de minimis threshold for personal imports was removed with immediate effect. It used to be that American consumers could import up to $800 USD worth of products for personal use without incurring any customs duties. A recent executive order has ended this de minimis, which means that all international imports will be charged the tariff duties applied to the country from which they originate.

As we are located in the UK, our items are subject to a 10% tariff. In order to avoid issues with customs delays and a surprise fee prior to collection (hopefully - though the entire process is currently new and there may be some teething issues in the short term while new protocols are sorted out and customs officials are trained in them), we have elected to send all items to the US under a Postal Delivered Duties Paid [PDDP] service with the Royal Mail. This means a 10% sales tax will be added to your order at checkout, which will then be passed on to the Royal Mail. The Royal Mail will then handle the customs clearance on your behalf so that you aren't presented with a customs bill to pay before your order is passed along to USPS.

As the PDDP service includes a handling fee and the cost of shipping to the US has also been raised a little in general, we have also unfortunately had to increase our shipping prices to cover it. We have tried to keep the shipping prices as low as possible for you, however.

We also now require a contact telephone number to be associated with the shipping address. This will not be used for any marketing purposes - it is just required as a part of the customs enforcement process. This number will be attached to the electronic customs forms. You may receive a phone call or e-mail from Customs enforcement or from USPS regarding your package if there are any issues, but that is a very rare occurrence.

Any orders that were made before these changes were put into place, including all outstanding orders from our Holiday Sale, we will be covering the tariff charge and handling fees ourselves in order to keep the processing queue moving as quickly as possible and as a thank you for your continued support despite the uncertainty at this time. If you would prefer to cover the tariff fees yourself, please do get in touch and we can let you know what tariff charges are due.

I am sorry for the inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, but thank you for your time, understanding and support. Since these changes came about right around the time that our Fragrance Collections switch seasons, I have elected to leave the Summer Scents up and available for an extra week so that any US customers who wanted to purchase some of them during the temporary suspension still can.

Hi all! It seems as if there has been confusion regarding our holiday break and sale. For the first two weeks of August our order processing was stopped completely. Orders made during this time did not begin processing until August 19th. We reserve a 14 business day turnaround time as all of our items are handmade in small batches and therefore take some time to complete. This is the time we reserve between pulling your order to when it is ready to be dropped off with the post office. It does not include weekends or UK public holidays.

While we reserve 14 business days, we strive to complete all orders well within that deadline - though it is likely that sale orders will frequently approach the deadline simply due to order volume. All orders made up until August 19th are currently at the 9th day of this processing time and many of you will receive an order fulfillment email tomorrow. The rest of the sale orders will be completed in the coming week. They are on their way, no need to worry! We are still within the timelines described when we announced the sale and holiday!

I understand that it's been a wait - the sale code was offered as a thanks for waiting the extra time for your orders made during that period. Unfortunately, we have been getting quite a few enquiries about outstanding orders despite communicating everywhere we could manage about the processing pause, and having the turnaround time stated on our website and in our order confirmation emails. Responding to each of these individually will further slow down the fulfillment process, so please bear with us in the meantime. Enquiries about your outstanding order's status if they were made before August 19th will not be responded to until after the deadline has passed, on September 5th.

I have decided to take a short break to rest and refresh before heading back to it! This year it'll just be a nice little 'staycation' as it were. I'll be pausing order processing from August 4th to August 18th, 2025, so any orders made during this period will begin their 14 working day processing time on August 19th. During this time, the website will remain open and you'll be able to order as usual, just with the understanding that there will be a longer than usual wait for your order to ship.

Any orders made up to July 28th at 10am UK Time are guaranteed to be processed and sent out before the holiday period begins and those made between July 28th and August 3 may not ship until after the holiday break. Though I will make every effort to get as many of them finished as I can before then.

If you are happy to wait some extra time for your order to process, however, I always like to run a sale code as a thank you for that patience! From Monday, 4 August at Midnight UK time to Monday, 18 August at 11:59PM UK Time, you can use the code STAYCATION25 to take 22% off your entire order. This discount can't be combined with any other discounts, but the free shipping thresholds will still apply. This discount code can be used any number of times and has no order minimum.

Set off on an adventure tomorrow, May 1, 2025 at around 1pm UK Time with the new Venture Forth fragrance collection!

This collection of 15 brand new scents is inspired by the original characters in TTRPG campaigns I have been a part of - a love letter to the creativity and joy of my friends and fellow adventurers (as well as myself, because who wouldn't love to be able to smell like their own D&D character?!) Each was asked what they thought their character would smell like, and these scents were built up from those descriptions, with some additions here and there to make them distinctly Crow & Pebble perfumes. :)

These will be available separately to the seasonally rotating catalogue for the time being, so there will be plenty of time to sample everything. They will only be sorted into seasons once a new fragrance collection is ready to launch. Until then, you can expect them to remain in stock and available for purchase as 5ml roller balls or as a part of our Discovery Sampler Flights.

The Venture Forth Collection scent descriptions:

Lovelorn Legionnaire: Fresh water flowing in banks of oakmoss, dotted with blooming waterlilies and fringed by maritime pine and rosewood trees, all on an ambergris base.

Fault in Crystal: Violet, lavender, green mandarin and dragonsblood incense combine as a soft floral contrast to the scent of a violent storm: wet stone, ozone and petrichor.

Seven: Delicate muguet and cucumber, rain clouds, liturgical incense and white grapefruit on a base of leather and black musk.

Scamp's Stolen Heart: Dark red roses dripping blood from their thorns, cumin, bergamot, black musk and soft earth.

Vestige of Yearning: A hot cup of earl grey tea enjoyed among blooming irises and lavender, the scents of freshly turned earth and church incense wafting through the air.

Mother Dusk: A steaming mug of coffee, coriander seed and a cozy wool sweater, sheltered by pine and fir trees while the gloom of night is kept at bay with bursts of sweet orange.

Devil's Trifle: Chocolate dipped pineapple, passionfruit curd and juicy pink grapefruit topped with cardamom on a base of dark vanilla.

Quixotic Adept: Caramelized pears and candied nuts dusted with cinnamon and cardamom and sprinkled with orange blossom water.

Fettered Raven: A tumbler of whisky dusted with white pepper, lit beeswax candles and ancient parchment scrolls spread across a polished wood desk.

Courting Danger: Fragrant boronia blossoms and juicy apricots and sweet clementine paired with lightly toasted marshmallow, black pepper and a hint of smoke.

Bonne Vivante: A heart of heady gardenia and tuberose is supported by a base of creamy sandalwood and clean white musk and topped with a bubbly splash of champagne and a generous pinch of pink pepper.

Glimmer and Blossom: A garland of gorse, acacia and daffodil, golden amber, wildflower honey and tangy red mandarin.

Lady Palimpsest: A heart of powdery soft wisteria and pink roses, topped with bergamot and clary sage on a base of ambergis.

Heartmender: A pearly blend of white flowers, golden honey and to***co, enlivened with white and mountain peppers and grounded in earthy oakmoss.

Lament of the Mystic: A censer of sacred resins and blackened vanilla and a a cup of tea leaves lie abandoned amongst bundles of clary sage and to***co leaves in a hut overgrown with ripe fox grapes and moonflower.

Hi all! Just a quick update for those of you who live in the UK! There is also a quick note at the bottom of this post for our International customers as well - nothing major! Just some clarification re: US tariffs.

For UK Customers:

As of 7 April, 2025, Royal Mail has updated their prices. We have also updated our shipping costs to reflect those changes. The cost of First Class Large Letters has now significantly exceeded the price of Tracked48 and Tracked24 large letters, so we have removed the First Class option from the website. It just isn't a viable alternative anymore.

All new UK orders will have the option to ship via Tracked48 or Tracked24 services, and we have reduced the price of the Tracked48 service from £3.40 to £3.10 to make the transition less painful all around. There are also no weight thresholds with the Tracked48 services, so the shipping cost will not increase regardless of the size of your order.

The free shipping threshold has also been raised slightly from £30 to £35 in line with these changes.

If you have an outstanding order and selected First Class services at checkout, your order will be sent via Tracked48 instead. If you'd prefer to make another arrangement for your outstanding order, please do drop us an e-mail and we will do our best to accommodate you!

Regarding the US Tariff issues: our prices will remain the same, as we do not source any of our materials or packaging from the United States. For our International customers from outside the USA, this means orders from us will proceed the same way they always have. Nothing at all will change for you from us.

I do not know, however, how the tariffs will affect American customers' import duties. From what I understand, the current personal import allowance will remain in place for the time being, which means that vast majority of orders will be completely unaffected by any changes. However as the situation changes and new systems are put into place, that may not always be the case. I will update if I hear anything in the future.

Winter Fragrances will no longer be available for our Choose Your Own Sampler Set after this date, but the Spring options will be available in their place! This is your chance to stock up on the Winter scents before they are put away until next winter. :)
