Feeling more than a little emotional today after being honoured at the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards. To be honest, after a lifetime in hairdressing I didn’t expect to be quite so moved when my name was announced...but it’s nice to realise it still all means as much as on my first day as a junior.
Just want to say a huge thanks to all my wonderful clients, many of whom have been with me since I was in my teens and who make every day in the job so different, so special and so much fun. Big kisses to Barry McCulloch for all he does in our wee salon every day and to my lovely husband Bill Leckie for supporting me in everything I try to do.
