WHAT ARE LVL LASHES?

Lash lifting and tinting is ideal for clients who want a natural alternative to lash extensions. Lifting the lashes straightens them from the root to give the appearance of longer, thicker, darker and fuller lashes. The results are immediate and it lasts between 6-8 weeks with no damage. This no maintenance treatment is perfect for busy people.

Firstly, the eyes are cleansed of any make up to allow the correct sized silicone shield to be applied to your eyelid; the lashes are then pressed against the shield using a water soluble, non toxic glue. The lashes are separated and placed in their ideal position; this is an important step in the treatment process as it determines the overall look and end result.

With all the lashes bonded a perming lotion is applied for 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the hair. This breaks down the disulphide bonds in the hair to make it more pliable and easy to lift at the root.

The perming lotion is then removed and a fixing lotion is then applied for 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the hair. This does exactly what it says and sets the hairs into place.

Tint is then applied for 5-10 minutes. Blue black tint is used to make the lashes appear darker and longer and give more definition. Tint can be omitted depending on allergies and personal preference.

Finally, nourishing serum is gently applied to the lashes to condition them.
