That's me finished up in the salon and taking a well-earned break! ๐
The salon will reopen on Monday 27th July, and I'll be switching off completely while I'm away.

This is one of the questions I'm asked all the time, and the truth is... waxing isn't always the thing to blame.
Ingrown hairs happen when a new hair struggles to break through the skin and starts growing back into it instead. They can be sore, itchy and a bit of a nuisance!
๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฒ ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ง:
โจ Dead skin cells can trap the hair underneath.
โจ Tight clothing rubbing on freshly waxed skin.
โจ Naturally curly or coarse hair is more likely to curl back into the skin.
โจ Picking or squeezing (I know it's tempting! ๐) usually makes them worse.
๐๐ก๐ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ๐ฌ? ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ.
โ๏ธ Gently exfoliate 2-3 times a week (just not for the first 24-48 hours after your wax).
โ๏ธ Moisturise regularly to keep your skin soft.
โ๏ธ Wear loose clothing after your appointment where you can.
โ๏ธ Stick to a regular waxing routine instead of shaving in between appointments.
โ๏ธ Avoid any exercise ,gym after your appointment, sweat from exercise is not good for your ๐น
Remember, no treatment can promise you'll never get an ingrown hair, but looking after your skin between appointments can make a huge difference.
