Risograph Print and Design Studio The studio is equipped with a variety of risograph printers, folding machines, card cutters and papers supplies.
Riso prints have similar rich spot colours and ink textures to that of screen-printing, but involves accelerated duplication speeds, at a fraction of the print cost. This makes it ideal for producing promotional material such as posters, flyers, business cards, invites and catalogs. Spend the day turning hand-drawn frames into a playful looping animations, with thrown in the mix. You will create dancing graphic delights - true to Angela's style!
This one’s ideal for illustrators, designers, artists and curious creatives - with no animation experience needed. Just a willingness to make things move 🌼

I'm so delighted to say - Anthony’s going to be joining us for a special workshop at the new studio! He's bringing a juicy suite of backgrounds + foregrounds from his archives, which will provide the best foundation for the workshop. He'll share insight to his approach, and how these shapes and text can be mixed up and combined in infinite ways.
What you’ll leave with:
✨ Two A4 riso editions (20 + 20 prints)
✨ A proper toolkit for composition, type, and playful constraint-led making
Expect bold building blocks, and lots of room to cut, collage, shuffle, and make new compositions.

🟢 RISOTTO HQ, in all its poppy newness. [Swipe for the before + after ➡️]
This build started over 5 years ago ⏳ and finally, its moment in the sun is here ☀️.
The Big Green Beast was custom-built with furniture maker Alexander Garthwaite 🛠️
So many hands have helped along the way, but Alex really took this project on, engineered it, and somehow made my dreams a solid, cantilevered reality ⚙️📐
He built me a room within our warehouse space, with no standard walls 🚫. The result is a stepped form that eats dead space from the inside and gives it back to the outside 🟩
The result = giant steps on the outer shell are for storing my sculptures 📦, and the inside’s negative creates perfectly sized, cantilevered paper shelves, that serve the print room’s productive needs ⚡️
🎢🔧 It’s both hardcore playful and ultra practical (how I'd like to think of myself 😅) which can be a hard-working balancing act, but here, they're both in service to the other 🤍

Pattern lovers, this one’s for you 🧩🌈
Our 2026 mini calendar is basically a 12-month excuse to obsess over how pattern can be made. It starts on screen, where I build shapes and push and pull them until they slot and layer in a way that shines. Then I split it into colour layers, ready for the do its gorgeous, slightly unpredictable thing. This one is for NOVEMBER 💐
Each month's is printed in four ink layers, overlaid one by one, so the colours collide, and make new shades in the overlaps. That soft grain, the tiny shifts, the accidental magic… is what it's all about. turns the digital into something tactile and vibrant 🎊

RISOTTO's candy coloured capsule collection with fashion wonder was one of our very first collaborations, and we still have selected few left in the studio. Once they are gone, that is it!
Each top is printed, cut and sewn by hand in Scotland, and adorned in one of our calendar patterns from February or June. Boxy fit, neat neat shoulders and an equally exciting back.
