You may not realise it, but undercharging isn’t just affecting your profit.

It’s affecting your passion too…

Why?!

When you’re charging less than you need to, weddings will start to feel like a bit of a burden.

You feel resentful.
You feel taken advantage of.
You start questioning whether this career is even worth it.

And the hardest part?

Most HMUAs don’t even realise they’re undercharging.

Not because they aren’t talented.
Not because they don’t care.
But because they don’t know their numbers.

I don’t mean the whole vague “charge your worth” advice.

I mean actually knowing:

What you need to earn as a minimum.
What profit you want to make.
What goals you have in life.
What you want to invest in.
What you want your business to make possible.

It’s totally okay to have monetary goals too!!

It’s okay to want to buy nice things.
It’s okay to want financial breathing space.
It’s okay to want your business to support your life properly.

What’s not okay is charging without understanding why.

Because if you don’t know your numbers, you’re not really pricing your services.

You’re guessing.

I can say this because I used to be one of the stylists massively undercharging too 👀

It’s one of the biggest causes of imposter syndrome.
