Six years ago, I genuinely didn’t know what the future looked like.

Like thousands of small businesses, COVID brought everything to a standstill. Overnight, the salon had to close its doors, and suddenly there were bills to pay with no clients walking through them.

The Bounce Back Loan wasn’t something I wanted to take. It was something I needed to keep She is Beauty alive.

Today…

It’s completely paid off. 🤍💜

That little notification means so much more than £0 left to repay.

It means we made it.

We survived one of the hardest periods small businesses have ever faced.

We rebuilt.

We kept going when giving up would’ve been easier.

There have been countless moments of doubt and difficult decisions. But every treatment booked, every review left, every recommendation, every client who chose to support a small local salon helped us get here.

So this isn’t just my achievement.

It’s ours.

To every single client who’s trusted us over the last nine years… thank you. 🫶

COVID could have been the end of She is Beauty.

Instead, it’s become another chapter in our story.

Kelly has been with me for over 4 years now, and she’s not just part of the team, she’s literally my right hand 💁‍♀️

If something needs done, she’s already on it. When the salon’s busy, she’s the one keeping everything flowing. And if there’s chaos (which… happens 😂), she’s right there in it with me/or causing it?! 😝

She doesn’t just work here, she helps run this place! Always keeping me right 😂

But more than that, she’s incredible with clients. No pressure, no rushing, just genuinely good treatments and a bloody good laugh! Even when she’s diagnosing herself on ChatGPT 🫢😂

She’s become such a huge part of She is Beauty, and I honestly couldn’t do this without her 💜
