Previews of the flash sheets will drop on our Instagram and Facebook stories a couple of weeks before the event, so follow us on both platforms to eye up your favourites.

Slots will fill up fast on the day, so plan ahead! We are open for both bookings and walk-ins. Semi Permanent Make-Up removal breaks down differently than the usual tattoo pigment mainly due to placement and pigment used. Most brow pigments are a mix of different colors (typically black, brown, red, and yellow). Over time, or when hit with laser, the darker components (especially black) break down first. What’s left behind are the warmer undertones, mainly red or orange. Using a different wavelength we combat the warmer undertones and fade them enough for a cover up.

1. Skin safety (avoiding overload)

Laser removal works by breaking ink particles with high-energy light. Treating a very large area all at once can overwhelm your skin, increasing the risk of:
• Burns
• Blistering
• Scarring

By working in sections, your laser tech (me) gives your skin a safer, controlled dose each session.

2. Body’s immune system needs time to clear ink

After the laser shatters the ink, your immune system gradually removes the fragments. If too much ink is broken up at once:
• Your body can struggle to process it efficiently
• Healing may slow down
• You may get more swelling or inflammation

Smaller sections = better clearance and smoother healing.

3. Reducing systemic stress

Breaking down a very large tattoo releases a significant amount of pigment into your body. In rare cases, doing too much at once can:
• Make you feel unwell (fatigue, nausea)
• Put strain on your lymphatic system

Splitting sessions keeps things manageable.

4. Pain management

Laser tattoo removal can be quite painful (often compared to hot snaps of an elastic band or hot dat spitting at you when frying bacon) Treating a huge area in one go would be extremely uncomfortable, even with numbing.

5. Better results

Working in sections allows:
• More precise targeting of ink density and color variations
• Adjustments between sessions based on how your skin responds

This often leads to more even fading overall.

6. Healing quality

Each treated section needs weeks to heal properly. Smaller areas:
• Heal faster
• Are easier to care for
• Lower infection risk. During your consultation discussions will include if your tattoo needs to be broken down into sections and if so, how many. You will pay a reduced rate per session to help with the pennies. Or, you can buy bulk sessions of 8 for between 20%-25% off in paid in full. (No refunds for bulk buy but remaining sessions can be used on other tattoos)

How’s it going? 👀👀👀 is a process, a journey. Some sessions have instant visible ink loss, others may take multiple sessions. The second photo shows a lot of the ink being cleared by the client’s immune system after 4 sessions. It isn’t the laser working, it’s the body. The laser just helps to break down the ink into small enough fragments to be able to be released.

Watching this piece fade session by session is always incredible. The bold, dark lines that once dominated the skin are now breaking up and lifting, revealing clearer, healthier skin underneath. My client has completed 5 sessions.
