Beauty services contributed £5.7 billion directly to the UK economy in 2025, the largest share of any area within the beauty industry 💸
The latest Value of Beauty report from the British Beauty Council highlights the scale, resilience and importance of our sector, which contributed £28.3 billion overall and supported more than 595,000 jobs.
But it also reflects the growing pressures facing beauty businesses, with employment falling as costs continue to rise.
