With the hot weather this week, I may be in touch to adjust some appointment times where possible. This helps ensure treatments remain comfortable for both of us and allows me to provide the best results.

Before your wax:
✨Stay hydrated.
✨Avoid heavy sun exposure or sunburned skin for at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.
✨Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
✨Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid applying heavy lotions, oils, or fake tan on the treatment area.
✨If possible, try to stay cool before your appointment, excessive sweating can make waxing more uncomfortable.

After your wax:
✨Keep hydrated.
✨Avoid direct sun exposure on freshly waxed skin for 24–48 hours.
✨Skip hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and very hot showers.
✨Avoid intense exercise that causes heavy sweating for 24 hours.
✨Wear loose clothing to reduce friction and irritation.
✨Keep skin moisturised with a gentle, fragrance-free product.
✨Remember your SPF!

Notice the visible follicle dots after treatment? That doesn't always mean hair was left behind. With coarse, dark hair, follicles can remain visible even when many hairs have been successfully removed from the root.

Hair grows in different cycles. During a first wax, not every hair is in the same stage of growth, which means some hairs may be too short or not ready to be removed yet.

Regular waxing helps bring hair growth into a more consistent cycle, leading to smoother, longer-lasting results over time. Many clients also find that their hair becomes finer, softer and less coarse over time🤍
