Going back to her roots!! Catherine usually has Cadbury purple hair and has spoke about for ages going au natural and embracing the lovely silver tones in her hair. So today was the first step in the process. Stage one after a full bleach over the purple left us still with some real strong blue tones. So I foiled through tiny lowlights and then toned with some red to try to neutralise the blue and aim for a more silvery tone. I’m really not mad at the result at all! It’s not perfect, it’s not the end goal. But this is part of the process that has to happen sometimes changing colours! 🥰

Hey!! Just wanted to give everyone a little heads up (heads up 🙃) but my migraines have been really really sucky recently! So I’m really sorry if I have to shuffle your appointments round. They’re rubbish as it is but when it feels like your head and eyes are going to pop there’s certain things like nails or highlights that are really difficult and also can make it way worse too! So much apologies in advance but please be patient with me ❤️

Thank you SO much to every single person that has visited The Nest this year! Those that have stuck with me still, and some really lovely new customers too! This has been my busiest Christmas ever and I am honestly beyond grateful. The last few years there’s been multiple moments where I’ve just wanted to give it all up, feeling like I’m really fighting for something that was just not happening. It’s so difficult to be a hairdresser, a social media star, a receptionist, admin etc all in one. But this year it has really paid off, I’m busier than I’ve ever been and I am genuinely so grateful to everyone of you that’s made that happen. It’s so cheesy but I want you all to know that supporting my small little salon the way you have is really making my dreams come true.
