🗣️What Polynucleotides Can Do for Acne Scars?
☑️Polynucleotides are a great option for improving the appearance of acne scars. The treatment works by using a purified DNA solution that helps to regenerate skin cells and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin
☑️Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that give skin its structure and elasticity. By boosting their production, polynucleotides can help to:
🔘Fill in depressed or "pitted" scars, making the skin's surface smoother.
🔘Improve skin quality, making it more resilient and reducing the appearance of uneven texture.
🔘Support tissue regeneration, which helps the skin to heal and renew itself naturally. This makes it a highly effective treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone while specifically targeting the visible effects of acne scarring.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are both regenerative treatments derived from a patient's own blood, but PRF is a second-generation version of PRP that utilizes a fibrin matrix and a lower centrifugation speed, leading to a more sustained release of growth factors and a higher concentration of leukocytes.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma):
Is a concentrated form of plasma, the liquid part of blood, containing a high concentration of platelets.
Platelets are rich in growth factors that play a crucial role in tissue healing and regeneration.
PRP is created by separating plasma from red blood cells using a centrifuge.
The growth factors in PRP are released relatively quickly, leading to a faster initial response.
PRP is often used for skin rejuvenation, hair growth, and wound healing.
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin):
Is a more recent advancement in platelet-rich technology, developed to overcome some of the limitations of PRP.
PRF is created by centrifuging whole blood, resulting in a gel-like substance containing a fibrin matrix, platelets, and leukocytes.
The fibrin matrix in PRF provides a scaffold for tissue regeneration and a slower, more sustained release of growth factors.
PRF is often used for skin rejuvenation, hair growth, and wound healing, with the potential for deeper tissue regeneration.
Key Differences:
Fibrin Matrix: PRF contains a fibrin matrix, which PRP does not.
Leukocytes: PRF contains leukocytes (white blood cells), while PRP does not.
Centrifugation Speed: PRF is prepared using a lower centrifugation speed, which allows for the retention of leukocytes and a more natural fibrin matrix.
Growth Factor Release: PRF has a slower and more sustained release of growth factors compared to PRP.
Applications: While both can be used for skin rejuvenation and hair growth, PRF may be better suited for deeper tissue regeneration and addressing more advanced signs of aging

Subcision is a procedure that can treat acne scars, especially rolling scars, by breaking up the tissue that's pulling the scar down.
The material injected is a combination of polynucleotides and hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid is hydrating the skin and the polynucleotides will stimulate the fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, all of which will improve globally, the quality of skin and the appearance of acne .
