Not the best look I know, but this is straight after my lens replacement surgery in Prague, which took 8 minutes on each eye, and I didn’t feel a thing!! Anyone who relies on glasses knows how annoying they can be and it’s bloody scary when you can’t find them. I have trifocal lenses which have given me my close, middle and distance sight back. I’m 3 days post surgery and I can honestly say the difference is amazing, life changing, I can actually see and it will continue to improve.
Those that know me know I’m not a stranger to a bit of surgical intervention on the cosmetic side, and always happy to share. However none of that has been life changing, this already feels that way. I did masses of research and chose Prague for the procedure because the hospital and surgeon came so highly recommend, plus, even with flights and a lovely apartment it was a third of the cost in the UK. I have not been disappointed, it’s been amazing, helped by two lovely coordinators, Angelika and Petra, who made sure taxis arrived promptly each day to take me to and from the airport and appointments. George the surgeon was lovely, put me totally at ease, telling me each stage of the operation, which was honestly so easy.
