Melissa Jane's Unisex Hairdressing

As of Monday 9th September my working hours will be changing to work around Sofias school day. I will be working Monday-Friday 9am-2pm Saturdays and Afternoons after 3.15pm will only be prebooked and I won’t be working every Saturday so I can spend some time with Sofia out of school times. Appointments that are already booked still stand I won’t be changing them this time but further appointments will change. I hope everyone understands and I look forward to seeing you all again soon…ps Christmas appointments are filling up so if you know dates let me know.

Just a little heads up lady and gents I will be sorting appointments for you all this next coming week. All being well appointments will start from Monday 12th April. Please message me or my page with dates/times and what you would like doing and I will aim to fit you all in but please please be patient with me as I will only be doing mobile so I can’t be everywhere at the same time and have to work around childcare etc!

Following on from Boris’s announcement that all of Calderdale and West Yorkshire are to go into tier 3 from Monday I have made the decision to remain closed until it’s safer and suitable for me to open.

I understand you are all desperate for me to let you know when I will be reopening but with all the uncertainty with isolating and the track and trace and also the rising causes of positive covid results I don’t want to put myself at risk for the sake of my little one! Or reopen and have to close again!

I’m putting as much in place for a safe re-opening of Melissa Jane’s! I’ve completed this for all you lovely customers and hopefully we will be back in the salon before we know it! Until then keep smiling and stay safe xx

Just a quick update today. Following on from all the announcements this week I’m just informing everyone it’s looking like July 4th at the earliest Melissa Jane’s will re-open. Morning all, sorry for the late post, but following further guidelines of us been in lockdown for another three weeks, Melissa Jane’s will remained closed until the restrictions are lifted.

Following the Governments instructions Melissa Jane’s will now be closed until the lockdown restrictions are lifted.

This has not been an easy decision for myself but as it’s out of my hands it’s important to follow the instructions for the safety of my lovely customers and myself.

I thank each and every customer, family and friends for your continued custom and when all this is over I will look forward to seeing you all again.

Please bare with me if you have appointments booked over the coming weeks whilst I get around to contacting you all.

A job opportunity has come up within my salon for a part time fully qualified hairdresser.

Must be qualified at level 3 with at least 2years experience. Must work well as a team and also alone as some days will require working alone.

Must be reliable, honest, confident, trustworthy, punctual and responsible.

Job is advertised as part time/temporary but could lead to full time/permanent.

Must be required to work every Saturday.

Days and hours to be discussed upon employment, national minimum wage applies.
