The Nursing and Midwifery Counsel have made a clear statement to all nurses.
From June 1st All nurses delivering medicines to patients for cosmetic purpose MUST have a face to face consultation with every patient firstly and the prescribing nurse is responsible for the care before during and after treatment.
Not all nurses are prescribers.
Here at Harrogate Aesthetics both our nurse directors are qualified nurse prescribers and experts in delivering these treatments.
Thank you Nursing and Midwifery Counsel for clarifying the position and supporting public safety in medical aesthetics.
Please ensure that when you receive any Botox or similar that you see a prescribing medical practitioner face to face each time.

Venous Lakes are benign vascular lesions made up of clusters of blood vessels and look blue/purple in colour. They are most commonly found on the lip area, but can also be found on other areas of the face, ears and backs of hands.
