Why is Calm Waves different?
🌟My head spa treatments are a holistic experience based around stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system to create true relaxation, while cleansing the scalp and hair, for strong, healthy growth
🌟It is in a room with dimmed lighting, aromatherapy, music, soft running water and a warm, padded bed which together soothe the senses and allow the body to begin to unwind
🌟The treatment starts with oils and a scalp scrub, which smell great and stimulate the scalp
🌟Next, a clarifying shampoo removes product build up before the main event - a detangling treatment and conditioning hair mask with around 20 mins of massage to the head, neck and shoulders.
🌟Clients say it is like being "switched off", as everyday stresses just melt away and they are in that beautiful place between being awake and being asleep.
🌟Finally, the hair/ scalp is rinsed well and the hair played with using various combs and tools. There is plenty of time to use the hairdryer before you float out feeling totally relaxed
