As your all aware, the temperatures this week are meant to hit as high as 36 degrees. This being said, I wanted to give a heads up to all my clients on Wednesday and Thursday that it is extremely hot in the salon.

You’re more than welcome to reschedule your appointments if you’d prefer.

This heat can affect the products especially gel and builder gels, they become much thinner and harder to work with, please bare with me, this might effect your appointment timings and take a little longer.

Feel free to help yourselves to the water provided, bring your own and bring your own fans.

long nails & builder gel

Builder gel is a soft gel meaning length is a tricky one, it’s not meant to be used for long nails, sometimes it can cause breaks when it gets to a certain length.

As you can see, my client has builder gel AND long nails. This works for her, how? She comes in every 3 weeks for infills, which is the recommended time, she takes length down slightly each time and follows my advice when I recommend taking length off & she doesn’t use her nails as tools. My dream client 🪄

Growing your nails and starting your builder gel journey isn’t a “I’ll come when they’ve grown out” or “the longer I leave in between appointments the longer my nails will be” it’s all about consistency & taking care of them 💅🏽

Hi, to all my clients I have in this week, with the heatwave happening the salon is hottt, I am trying to cool it down as much as I possibly can.

Please wear light and comfortable clothing for your own comfort. I have lots of water please stay hydrated and help yourselves if needed!

Brow clients- please make sure you’re using SPF in this weather! If you come to your appointment with sunburn on your face I will not be able to carry your appointment out

As most of you know, I have an Isabelle and Tan dachshund named Rolo. He quickly became the main character in mine and my partners life. Rolo is the most treated, well cared and loved dog, sadly, not every dachshund gets the same experience. This is why on 24th July 12pm through to 25th July 12pm, I am doing a 24 hour nail marathon where I will be carrying out as many treatments as possible to raise money for Suloti Dachshund Support.

provide loan of pet strollers, pens and crates, adoption, rehoming, fostering and telephone support.

I will be taking toy donations to send over once my marathon is complete. If you can, please donate any dog toys to help make another dachshund life happier (A toy basket will be in the salon)
