Mel has been visiting me consistently every month for over a year now. We have tried a number of different facials however, we always come back to Hydrofacial which gives her the best results for her skin type.
This time we carried out a Hydrofacial combined with the Zo peel as she was going abroad, so I wanted maximise the exfoliation to leave her skin extra bright and glowy .

♦️The Red carpet peel ♦️

This peel is made up of a combination of 3 exfoliating alpha/beta hydroxyl acids including lactic, citric and salicylic acid as well as other high concentrations of active ingredients that will cause a very gentle exfoliation of the very upper dead skin cells, stimulate the production of elastin and collagen and over a course of treatments lead to a reduction in lines wrinkles and uneven skin tone.

Anti-ageing, fine lines, wrinkles
Problematic skin such as acne and enlarged pores
Pigmentation concerns, such as age or sun spots, freckles, uneven skin tone
Sallow, rough skin to improve texture and smoothness

♦️How does treatment feel?♦️
The ZO Ossential Stimulator peel is a comfortable treatment unlike some of the much stronger chemical peels. Whilst the peel is on the skin you may experience a mild, warming sensation, this is quite normal and will disappear once the peel has been neutralised.

♦️Pre treatment guidelines ♦️
Preparation prior to your peel is important to ensure you achieve optimal result without any unnecessary downtime. Here are pre peel preparation tips:

One week prior to our peel avoid hair removal methods such as electrolysis, waxing or depilatory methods
Avoid exfoliating scrubs or abrasive products for 48 hours prior to treatment
Discontinue any topical prescriptions such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic preparations, adapalene topical antibiotics for acne for 48 hours prior
Discontinue any Retin-A/Retinol products 48 hours prior
Avoid artificial tanning for 48 hours prior and excessive sun/sunbed exposure for 4 weeks prior to treatment
If you suffer cold sores ensure this has completely healed prior to your appointment
Inform your practitioner if there are any medical changes prior to your treatment.

The Ossential Stimulator Peel is designed to exfoliate the skin by stimulating cellular turnover to improve skin tone, texture and clarity. And the best part is that there is no downtime, peeling or redness afterwards; just glowing, healthy skin.
This peel is affectionately known as the “Red Carpet Peel” owing to the number of celebrities that avail of it before they have to look picture perfect for red carpet events, and can’t afford to hide away with the redness of flaking that some strong peels cause.
Ossential is gentle on the skin but strong enough to make a visible difference, brightening and refreshing the face for a youthful, dewy look.
This peel contains 3 different acids to exfoliate your skin and promote cell turnover; with 10% Salicylic Acid, 10% Lactic Acid and 10% Citric Acid. These are known as AHA or Alpha Hydroxy acids - they dissolve dead skin cells and give a great exfoliation to the upper layers of the skin. The salicylic acid works on oily, acne prone skin, and the citric acid gives the skin a healthy glow.
Just one peel will see results, but maximum benefits can be achieved with a series of 3-4 peels carried out at 2 week intervals.
Using the Ossential peel with other ZO products and protocols makes it even more effective, but it can be used on its own for great results.

❣️where do I even start my sweet strong boy.You came into our lives a lot sooner than planned 15 weeks early to be exact . You have taught your dad and I a lot of things since your were born , one the definition of true love ,secondly the definition of patience and thirdly how important it is to have a solid relationship when life tests you .
