These are one of the most challenging lashes to lift and I’m here to tell you why! ⤵️

Coarse, Strong & Downwards facing lashes require a highly customised approach and a little extra attention!

It’s crucial to use the best suited technique, product selection & shield choice to lift the lashes safely! The Korean technique is great for this as we are lifting root to tip using a gentle Cysteamine formula!✅

You may notice a few shorter “baby lashes” still visible after the lift. These are called anagen lashes — new lashes that are actively growing and haven’t yet reached their full length or strength. 🌱 This is completely normal and actually a sign of a healthy lash cycle🙌🏻

Could they be forced to lift? - potentially yes.
But If we were to try and force these lashes into the same lift as the mature lashes, we could risk over-processing, weakening, frizzing, kinking, or even damaging the developing lash. ❌

A healthy lash lift is NOT about getting every single lash perfectly upright, it’s understanding your natural lash cycle and ensuring I create the best possible result without compromising lash health.

I tried the Lash Glo Solo Lift system for the first time and I’m genuinely so impressed with the results! 😇

What really drew me in was seeing the wonderful showcase this product at the event and seeing how effortless the product was to use and how fab the results looked!🙌🏻

What’s great about this system is that it combines both step 1 & 2 into ONE step which means the treatment time is significantly shorter but it doesn’t compromise the results at all - comparing to a system that uses the usual 2 step system the results looked just as good in my opinion! 🫶🏻

The product was so easy to use and applied like a dream! Within 7 minutes my clients hairs were lifted and set and ready for tinting!

I’m such a creature of habit and hate changing products only if I absolutely have to, however this really has become a top favourite of mine and I can’t wait to use it over & over! 🙌🏻

Korean lash lifts are one of the most in demand treatments right now and the results just speak for themselves!🤭

Using my all time favourite .beautybar Pure Care system!🤍

I opted for a Hybrid shield for the lovely Sarah to ensure the lashes formed a ‘lift’ rather than a curl!

Her eyes are slightly deep set so if I was to use a curl shield the lashes could potentially curl back on themselves .. not what we want! 😣

I love the Universal shields for this! 🫶🏻

Always have a good variety of shields in your kit as each clients eye shape is completely unique! One size will NOT fit all! 😅

Have you ever thought, ‘why do my brows never last the full 8 weeks?’ 🫣

The truth is — your lifestyle, skin type, hair type, and daily habits can all affect how well your laminated brows can hold!

⬇️ I’m here to tell you why! 👀

• Skipping Conditioner - laminated hairs need hydration to stay healthy! Dry hair can lose its shape quicker and potentially can lead to breakage or even hair loss!

• Using heavy skincare or active ingredients - oils can weaken the lift & active ingredients like retinols cannot only dry the skin but dry the hair too!

• Frequent sun exposure or the use of sunbeds — Heat and UV exposure can dry out the brow hairs, causing results to weaken.

• Intense workouts and sweating — excessive moisture and sweat can affect the longevity of laminated brows, especially shortly after treatment, I advise to wait 24 hours before going to the gym!

• Not styling your brows daily — always brush and style your brows daily to prevent them from dropping! Remember WET to SET!

• Your natural brow type or skin type — coarse hairs, oily skin, sensitive skin, or very fast hair growth can all impact how long results last!

• Waiting too long between maintenance appointments — regular upkeep helps maintain shape, structure, and overall brow health.

Brow lamination is a such an incredible treatment, but like all treatments, results vary from person to person - not all brows will look the same! 🤍

The best results always come from the right aftercare, maintenance, and suitability for your brows.
