Guys just putting it out there I’m feeling a bit sh/*t. I am in work and powering through but I do not want any moaning or griping about it. Soo… Now is your oppertunity to cancel if you want to BUT you will NOT get another appointment before Christmas. So it’s on your head how important your nails actually are.

This isn’t a pitty post or feel sorry for me post so please don’t. I hate a fuss. I just don’t want any grief from yous. I don’t give you grief when you come in hoaching with whatever bug you’re trying to cover up, least I’m open and honest about it.

Hey guys,

with my fave (not) time of year coming up very very quickly just a message to say I am now fully booked 😵‍💫. If you’re not booked in I’m afraid it’s cancellation list. I’m going to try and make this very clear… FULLY BOOKED. No spaces for any ‘squeeze me ins’. They are all gone.

Like last year I will be taking time off after Christmas. Therefore everyone’s appts will be 4 weeks from your pre-Christmas appt. I don’t want to hear any greeting or whining that you NEED to be back in 2-3 weeks or you will die…. You won’t. I’ve had ladies whose nails last 6 weeks (don’t recommend it but there was reasons).

If you need to cancel give me plenty, plenty notice please so there’s a chance of filling the spot. I am usually tooooo chill with cancellations. Recently people have been slipping into cancelling a few hours before appts and I can’t always get to my phone when busy to see cancellations till the appointment time comes and nobody is here. I get it things come up and I’m usually understanding BUT!! At Christmas. I WILL be charging cancellation fee’s as follows:

❣️Under 24 hrs from appt time full price of your treatment.
❣️24-48 hrs from appt time 50% of your treatment price unless I can get it filled. Yes, I (ME) get it filled, with someone on MY cancellation list!! Not YOU filling it with your neighbours, granny’s, dogs mum who I’ve no idea who it is just to cover your arse!!!!!!!!!!

And obviously please come at your appointment time. Don’t be late. Any lateness at all, even 5 minutes, you will be turned away and charged. BUT on the other hand!!! Please don’t appear here 20 minutes prior to your appointment time. There is no need for you to be sitting out in the waiting area. It rushes me, it makes my current client feel uneasy like they are taking up too much of my time or I could just be having a breather, a drink, something to eat (although that’s not going to happen.. but still, the amount of times you come early and my currently client feels terrible and says “am I keeping you back?” No hen, they just like to spend their afternoon sitting outside). There is absolutley NO NEED for you to be here any more than 5 mins pre-appointment time. If you’re sharp, go get yourself a wee coffee or cup of tea. There are plenty of cafes near by.

Right, rant over, essay complete. If you’ve gotten this far you’re a good’un. If you haven’t, I will know as you will ether cancel 2 hrs before your appt or your sitting outside 45 minutes early or appear 10 minutes late or your crying cos I said your Jan appt is in 4 weeks time 🤣😂.

A few of you have hit me with this propaganda…. I can 100% assure you Bio Sculpture, the product I use is free from all that harmful sh*te. If it had harmful sh*te I wouldn’t use it.

Yes…. Don’t get me wrong.. a certain brand.. a certain popular brand, does/did contain these ingredients (well did.. till… yesterday when they made it like illegal 🥴)… you know the brand I often rant about when you hit me with the “bUt iS tHaT BiAb”…. And you get a sturn NO then followed by the rant…. Tbh I know you guys love my ranting so prob just ask me for the lols 🤣😂!!!

So aye, don’t get me started… this week is stressful enough.

I did say in my last post if you don’t get your nails done you won’t die… may appear if you do get your nails with a certain brand done.. you may in fact die…. (Maybe a bit extreme)….But you won’t die with me ok. Your fingers ain’t gonna fall off. Please stop streesssssssin. Leave the stress to me this week 😅.

Hey guys, just a wee message to ask eveyone that’s in this week to please behave yourselves. It’s a mental busy week as I’m off on holiday next week (I know, how dare I!!).

I have no space to spare, you ether come or you cancel. Simples. I’ve squeezed people into crevices that are non-existent, I ain’t eating, I ain’t breathing. Soooo please, I beg, come at your appointment time. Any lateness, at all, even 5 minutes your appointment isn’t going forward.

Unless you have pre-booked a french manicure or arty-farty stuff, I don’t have time. You should be pre-booking this anyway but some don’t and think a french mani is “quick and easy”… news flash, it’s not, it’s actually harder than some of the arty stuff as we got to get all 10 nail tips looking sharp and the same.

Aaaannywaaayyy… you’d think I was going away for a year the way some of you carry on, it’s just a week, you won’t die because you haven’t had your nails done before I go. If you deem anything as an ‘emergency’.. call 999.

No surprise really, but just to let yas know and if you need to cancel please give me a shout as someone will gladly take your app. Sadly with being full rearranging apps is non existent unless a cancellation comes up. Usual craic like.

Already, pre-belladrum week is a no-go. If you ask me “any chance I can get squeezed in for… ” that week… you’re taking your life into your own hands 🙂🙂🙂🙂.

🚪 STOP BURSTING IN… PLEASE 🚪

Guys, I actually can’t believe I’m having to bloody write this as there’s a sign on my door as it’s happened before!! Can the culprits of just “letting themselves in” to my room please stop. You wouldn’t just let yourself into the Doctors office or dentist room.

Thankfully everytime it’s happened so far I have been doing nails…. Or rarely stuffing my face… or trying to quickly tidy/change the room over. BUT it’s not going to be long till one of yous burst in and I am mid wax!!!

If you are early, or on time, late, whatever (but hopefully not late). Please just come in and take a seat. I will invite you through when I’m ready. Just because it’s “quiet” don’t assume I’m sitting waiting for you to invite yourself in. Respect other clients who may like a quiet appointment as you don’t know what they are going through, or I may be having that 2 second ham sandwich chew.

If I need to get a bigger sign.. I will… With flashing lights this time 🚨🚨

Hey Guys! Coming into effect on 1st July, a few changes, (well some aren’t all changes, I’ve just been very lax and you guys have had it pretty good!) Mainly to do with pricing, which I know is a bit s**t and I hate doing it but it’s come to my attention recently I’m cutting myself short… I often joke and threaten when things go t*ts up that I’m getting a job in Lidl, truth is, I’d be earning more working in Lidl with far less stress and for far less hours!🤣.

After a Sunday dinner discussion with the boss (Mumma P) who had done some market research (of course she had!!) As most of you prob realise I am the cheapest in town… but ironically using more expensive, higher end products 🤯. It’s been an eye opener to find out I’m cheaper than those interesting places in the Eastgate centre and people who just completed a 1 day course yesterday. MUG tattooed on the forehead as the saying goes😵‍💫 … only myself to blame as I know I’m a softy.

God….. I do go on and on trying to explain myself but one of the first massive things I’m clamping down on, which should be in place but has fallen off, is paying for the wee added extras some of you just expect. I’m talking about a french manicure, little arty-farty bits, nail repairs!!! Repairs also being a huge one!! You maybe don’t realise, as I do just push on during an appt when you turn up with an airbrushed AI generated Pinterest picture of nails and try to deliver your expectation, or as close to an AI airbrushed expectation I can, along with fixing your broken cracked nails you done pulling weeds in the garden with no gloves on 😐.

Anyway…. I need to shut up. New prices as follows:

I know some are a bit confused by what’s Gel Nails and what’s shellac so… gel is the stuff that comes out of the wee grey “Bio Sculpture” tub, applied with the separate brush. Shellac comes out of the wee black “CND” polish bottle that’s brush is attached.

💅🏼 Bio Sculpture Gel Overlay - your own nails, no extensions, no arty-farty, no Frenchy, no millions of repairs with silk and extensions: base price £35.

💅🏼CND Shellac Nails - your own nails, extensions cannot be done with shellac, if you get your toes done, it’s always shellac on toes: base price £25.

💅🏼 Gel X Extensions - nail extensions, done with the Apres Gel X system (the wee tips that cover your nails): base price £45

All the following below are a + to the base price above.
💅🏼 French Mani: +£5 to the base price above (so for example, gel overlay french mani would be £40)
💅🏼 Arty-Farty (flowers, lovehearts, swirls, any of this stuff you come away with from Pinterest): +£5 for basic, 1 or 2 nails…. Anything more will be more £.
💅🏼 Nail Repairs: Silk repair (the wee plaster thing I put on a cracked nail) +£2….Extension repair (nail extension to match length of other nails) +£5.
💅🏼 Removal: +£5

I hope this all makes sense? I’m sorry for rambling on, I can’t help it 🤣. I feel this is the fairest way as it’s unfair that someone who’s getting a plain colour set is paying the same price as the person who’s leaving with the contents of the Sistine Chapel on theirs which takes more time, product etc. I know this may come as a surprise to some, but I can assure it was a bigger surprise to me when Mumma P broke it down 😵. If you have any questions or don’t feel comfortable with my prices please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I fully understand with the current climate of things and that nails are a luxury not a necessity. I hope you all understand, I hate doing this, worst business person award goes to me 🏆. Thanks so much for reading my dissertation 🤣.

Well guys, to say the last 2 weeks have been stressful is an understatement due to many factors 👀😵‍💫…..but it’s that time of year again and I’m finished!!!!

I’ll be back to work on Tues 13th. As most of my OG’s know, where I’m at the signal is diabolical so I’ll deal with my messages when I’m back. All you good ones know the craic anyways.

Hey guys, just to let yas know I’m off in May (again, imagine that) so it’s verrryy busy. I currently don’t have any appointments available till week commencing 26th May.

Sooooo chopping, changing, rearranging? No chance. I’m full. I don’t have anything to change you to… unless you wait till 27th May. And if you ask me to “swap you to another day next week” all I’m saying is you’re taking your life into your own hands 🤣😂.

I think most of yas are booked up anyway and know the craic. Also a wee reminder it’s regular clients only, if I’ve not seen you since 1926, I’m afraid, you’re not a regular client. (technically my rule is if I’ve not seen ya in 3 months, yer oot).
