✨ A Personal Update ✨

This year marks a huge milestone for me, 10 years of being self-employed and 9 wonderful years based within Caledonian House.
Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful for every client who has supported me on this journey. Many of you have been with me from the beginning, and I honestly wouldn't be here without you ❤️

With that in mind, I wanted to let you know that I have made the decision to increase my treatment prices and if you know me, you'll know this hasn't been a decision I've taken lightly.

Over the years, I have always tried my best to absorb rising costs rather than pass them on to my clients. However, with the increasing costs of products, utilities, insurance, training, equipment and general business expenses, it has become necessary if I want to continue running Meraki sustainably and earn a wage from the business I have worked so hard to build. When I looked back at the very first salon pricelist I had 10 years ago I realised that my prices haven't even increased by an average of £1 per year and whilst I've always wanted to keep treatments affordable, it just simply isn't sustainable for me to keep absorbing those costs anymore.

Like every small business owner, I won't pretend that price increases don't feel scary. There is ALWAYS the worry that people may decide not to return, and that's something every business fears, However, it's not as scary as thinking one day you may have to give up your dream job because of it. It's also important that my prices reflect not only the rising costs of running a business, but the experience, knowledge, qualifications and continuous training I have gained over the last decade, as well as the beautiful, welcoming space that I am proud to provide for my clients.

The increases across treatments range from approximately £2-£6. These adjustments will help ensure that Meraki can continue to thrive, allow me to maintain the standards you expect, enable me to continue offering the special offers and promotions that so many of you enjoy, and help secure the long-term future of the business for many years to come.
The new prices will come into effect from 1st July.

Aswell as this, I have also given my online booking system a little revamp 😍. The system has been updated with the new pricing to be applied from 1st July, it has also been reorganised to make browsing treatments and booking appointments a little clearer and easier for everyone.

Deposits will continue to be required when booking appointments all of which have been updated to reflect individual treatment cost.

My loyalty card scheme will remain in place, along with all 60+, Curves and PFSA discounts. Special offers will also continue and the price of these will remain the same.🩷

I truly appreciate that times are difficult for everyone right now, which is why I've held off making these changes for as long as possible. I never take for granted that you choose to spend your hard earned money with me, and every appointment, recommendation and kind word genuinely means the world. When you choose to spend money with any small business you really are helping to keep the dream alive!

I hope you can understand the reasons behind these changes and continue to support Meraki as we move into the next chapter together.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty, trust and support over the last 10 years. Every appointment booked, every recommendation made and every kind word shared has helped Meraki become what it is today, and for that I am forever grateful. ❤️
