Sometimes it’s nice to swap long days for lazy days 🧘‍♀️

I’m always forever grateful to be consistently booked and busy especially as I’ve now been in the industry for almost half of my life!

But all these years in the bag still has me struggling with maintaining a work /life balance at times and the first half of 2026 had me hitting another burn out - you would think I would learn by now right ?😂

While weekends are always days “off” working so many late nights through the week , starting at the crack of dawn in the morning , never taking a lunch break or any break for that matter and sitting every night playing receptionist till midnight through the week I was finding myself so burned out by the weekend it took me around 48 hours of hibernation to be ready to do it all again 🤪

This summer I decided something had to give as I know my business gets the best version of me when the old work /life balance is balancing . Since the start of the school holidays Ive been taking an extra day off each week which means if I need 48 hours recovery there’s still room to do something🤪😂

Here is me and my boys enjoying the sunshine in the Lake District today , I’ll be back at work Tuesday and will get back to all messages then ❤️

It’s to be a hot one today and tomorrow and we all know the last cave likes to stay toasty 🥵

I’m keeping things as cool as I can but dress cool and comfortable 🤗

And if you are in for brows or facial waxing avoiding sun exposure before and after is a must ❤️

Lovely few days off while ageing up a year 🎂

It’s been a lazy but busy few days off so I am a little behind with admin and messages

I will get back to everyone tomorrow that’s waiting in replies 🤗 during school holidays replies will be slower but I will always get back to you ❤️

This week has to be hot which means the lash cave will be toasty 🔥 I will try to keep it as cool as possible but I recommend dressing cool and comfortably for afternoon /evening apps

Hope you are all surviving the first week of the school holidays 🫣

Just a little reminder that as of this week I am working slightly reduced days and hours due to school holidays , I know this time next year my boy won’t be hanging around watching me hoover my lash cave so this summer I’m going to make the most of a little extra time with him ❤️

This does mean organisation is key when making apps as I will have less availability and less room for rescheduling so please check your apps in advance to make sure you’re in and it still suits 🤗
