Homemade beef and mushroom pie.

It would have been easier to buy a pre-prepared one. I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes turning my kitchen upside down, grumbling bitterly, looking for and failing to find a tablespoon (2nd one I've lost) but this is the mum I want to be, wish I was.

I love homebaking, making things for scratch. We cupboards full of herbs and spices. This is why I I'm fighting so hard to change my work life balance.

Buns for the school bake stall tomorrow.
Little hands had fun decorating them. Had to tip the extra sprinkles and chocolate chips off before putting them in the tins 🤫😆

Today I drop the kettle, it just slipped out of my hands, full of water. Thankfully it was cold water as I had just filledthe kettle. The kitchen was soaked as the lid flow off and water went everywhere.

Then I nearly knocked the frying pan off the hob making Gene pancakes. Thankfully it spun round and I caught hold of the handle as it wobbled on the edge.

Then i knocked a knife off the counter that narrowly missed my foot.

But why the lavender and aloe cream and the lavender oil? 🤔
This was needed 30 minutes ago when I tipped a whole freshly made pot of scolding hot tea over my foot and fingers (on both hands) as I went to put it down. Who knew I could get my foot in the kitchen sink 😲

Lavender oil may act as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiseptic.
Aloe is known to be a strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and can have antioxidant actions that may promote wound healing and skin health.

My digestion has been off it for the last few days. I haven't really helped myself with the thjnga I've been eating.
This evening the stomach became very uncomfortable.
