A really useful resource for anyone struggling through this pandemic. Take a look, it covers all sorts of guidance and support tools.
To all my lovely customers, first of all, Happy New Year.
I just wanted to update you on the current situation which is that similar to last lockdown, I am only recommended to see people who consider their treatment to be essential.
Here is the guidance...
Members can continue to practise where they are providing essential therapy services for the relief of pain and acute symptoms that may be detrimental to quality of life, or in order to prevent disability.
Therefore, I would ask you to assess whether your appointment is classed as essential or whether you would like to postpone your treatment to after the national lockdown.
Hope you are all well and keeping safe at this worrying time.
Please keep in touch and let me know how you wish to proceed.
Thanks,
Kayleigh

Hi Everyone.
Hope you are all well. Just a quick update.
After dissecting the emails from my governing body and insurance company. It appears that I can still operate on what I consider very subjective terms.
The information I have gathered is that as long as all treatment and rehabilitation sessions βare clinically reasoned to be necessary for the treatment of a musculoskeletal condition, where the patient is in pain, and requires a face-to-face appointment to enable a reduction in symptoms and disability" then I am able to see you.
(The reasoning is the level of pain you are in which determines your appointment need)
βHome visits that cannot be deemed as being essential for the relief of pain and disability must not be undertaken.β
(Again. Their reasoning is how much pain you are in.)
Therefore if you feel that your treatments or interventions could wait until December we can postpone your appointment. Otherwise I will see you as planned.
I hope this makes sense and thank you all for your patience. Please contact me to let me know how you wish to proceed.
Kayleigh

To existing and potentially new customers,
We are now back in business! I returned to work on Monday and I am now taking appointments. I have reduced working hours as a matter of precaution to start off with which will be continuously monitored.
Please feel free to get in touch and book your slot and check out our previous post on how we plan to keep us all as safe as possible.
Hope to see you soon.
Take care
Kayleigh
Thank you to those who tried to post a review and have been in touch to say they couldn't do it. I have now resolved the problem. If you wouldn't mind trying again, that would be amazing. Thanks guys! π

Good afternoon,
I am pleased to inform you that I will be open from Monday 27th July. I am returning on a reduced appointment basis to start with. This will be subject to constant monitoring.
The opening hours intially will be:
Monday 9-1pm
Wednesday 11-3pm
Friday 2-6pm
I hope the varied hours will mean that I can accommodate as many of you as possible.
If you would like to book, you can do so in the usual ways. To avoid cash payments, I have an account for taking card payments which I will tell you about once I see you.
Here are a list of measures that are in place to help keep us all safe:
- Sanitiser stations placed in the room for before and after treatments
- No towels used (please bring one with you if you'd like to be covered up during treatment)
- Please bring a mask with you, I will be wearing a mask, apron and gloves for treatments
- There will be a one way system into and out of the building
- I will be cleaning all touched surfaces between sessions
- There will be NO waiting area in reception, you will go straight through to my room.
Looking forward to getting back to some kind of normality. Even if it is a different "normal".
Best wishes,
Kayleigh
